10/02/09 Diary of a Hitman and 39 Times have been selected for screening at the 2nd Annual Narrative Shorts International Film Festival. Ten films by 8 filmmakers were selected. A special reception and pre-screening of selected works will take place as part of the University Film Series at Chico State's Little Theatre, Ayres 106, on Tuesday, November 3 beginning at 7:30 PM. The films will then be on view with continuous screenings at the University Art Gallery, December 1 – 16, 2009.
10/01/09 My short film 'La Pesadilla' was recently screened on Contribucones Latino Short Film Festival at the New Britain Museum of Art at Central Coneticut State University. "Contribuciones" is commited to exploring the contribusions and impact of latinos in the United States and New Britain.
4/4/09 I am happy to announce that El Jefe Film's “Diary of a Hitman,” has been selected to screen at DETOUR: A Film Noir & Arts Festival, scheduled for Thursday, April 16th, 2009 at Galapagos Art Space, 16 Main Street, (Dumbo) Brooklyn, N.Y.
Diary of a Hitman was written and directed by Ary Hernandez, and has been selected for previous film festivals and was recently featured on Cox Cable in San Diego.
